Inkpop.com Merging With Figment.com

A week or so ago I did a "review" on the self publishing site Inkpop.com- talking about how great it is, it's unique stories, yada yada yada......Well after publishing the review I recieved an e-mail the next day from Inkpop that announced their merge with Figment.com. What are the odds?! Here's what the e-mail said:
We're excited to announce that the inkpop site and community will be  merging with Figment, which means you can now be part of an even bigger  community of writers.
Figment is a creative writing website and just like inkpop it's dedicated  to fostering talented writers and giving them a platform to gain a wider  audience. As a Figment member, you'll have even more ways to get  feedback, improve your writing, and connect with authors and publishing  professionals.
While inkpop will no longer exist as its own site after 3/1/12, the  inkpop & Figment teams are working hard to make sure all inkpop accounts  and projects will have a new home and that you will be able to easily  find & connect with each other on Figment.  Over the next few days, you'll receive step-by-step instructions that  will guide you through the process of moving your account information to  Figment.
Thank you for being a part of the inkpop community—we are excited about  this new partnership and look forward to seeing you and reading your  writing on Figment. If you have any questions, please contact  inkpop@harpercollins.com.
Sincerely, The inkpop team

So after transfering my acount to Figment I decided to "take a look around" and see the layout of the site. Personally, I don't like the layout as much as I did with Inkpop, and readers being able to copy and paste author's work is a big no, no (although this is something Figment is working on changing). Figment has also set up special forums for Inkpop users to go and "introduce" themselves to the Figment community.

It will definitely be interesting to see how popular this merge is among the previous Inkpop community. If you have any questions about what this merge means for Inkpop users they can be answered here. What do you guys think about Inkpop and Figment joining together? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments or follow me on twitter! Keep Reading!
