This week's Swoon Thursday comes from MYSTERY FALLS by Marilyn Phillips! I just finished reading this book last night and I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved it! I will be participating in the Mystery Falls Blog Tour on December 2nd (so my review will be posted on that date) =D 

Reaching up, Shadow placed his hands gently on either side of my face.

Anticipating his kiss, I ran my tongue over my lips to moisten them.

His eyes smoldered at my innocent gesture. "Do you realize how provocative that is?" he murmured. 

I swallowed. Locked in his seductive gaze, I suddenly found myself unable to answer, unable to move.

Slowly, and with his complete precision, he brought his lips to mine. At first, his touch was feather-soft, almost impossible to detect. And then it changed. Increasing the pressure, his kiss suddenly became passionate, hungry. Feeling a weakness begin to develop in my knees, I placed my hands on his bare chest for support. Electricity flowed between us, and although the sensation was no longer new to me, it caused my heart to race. Responding, Shadow wrapped his arms around me. With our bodies pressed tightly together, I could sense a longing in him I had not experienced before. He continued the kiss for a while longer. Then suddenly ending it, he buried his face deep in the curve of my neck. Whispering in a voice barely loud enough for me to hear, I heard him say, "I want you. I want you more than I have ever wanted anyone...."
