What happens when two people who don’t believe in love, happen to fall madly into the most beautiful relationship they could ever imagine? A train wreck.

When twenty-year-old Kendall Jordan transfers clear across country to Garrison University, the last thing she’s looking for is a one-night stand. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what, gorgeous, Cruise Elton offers.

Kendall has long since come to realize that love is an illusion that never lasts, and Cruise couldn’t agree more—but something deep inside her wants him all for herself. So, Kendall devises a seat of the pants plan to “play the player” and proposes that Cruise tutor her in becoming a female version of himself, Garrison University’s own playboy.

Real feelings begin to emerge, and neither Kendall nor Cruise know how to classify them. Everything they once thought they knew is redefined as they discover, in one another, Someone to Love

     Someone To Love was a quick, sexy, steamy read by author Addison Moore. When I saw this books on SupaGurl Tours I just couldn't stop myself from signing up, especially after readig the synopsis ! Please be aware that Someone To Love is a New Adult novel that I would not recommend  for young Y.A.  readers due to some mature content.

     I loved seeing the relationship between the innocent Kendall and not-so-innocent Garrison develop and evolve as the novel progressed. Both of their characters go through lots of growth that is definitely evident  by the end of the book. However, although I did see growth in the characters as both individuals and as a couple,  I've read Contemporary in the past and although there is sex (more so than a usual novel), there has always been something deeper to the story  and between the characters that make you really fall in love with the entire book. Someone To Love kinda, sorta lacked in developing a love story that I was able to really connect with. I didn't quite understand why Garrison thought Kendall was sooo different from the long list of girls he's been with in the past (there wasn't really any explanation there), and I sometimes felt Kendall was sometimes so naive that it was unrealistic-- I won't point out the specific scenes I'm talking about because they're a bit spoilery, but there were times I couldn't help myself from cringing at reading some of the things Kendall was oblivious to.

     I will point out that this book made me laugh quite a bit-- that's one of the reasons I love these types of novels so much because they really have a fun, light element to them that you can't help but enjoy reading. I also really appreciated seeing both Kendall and Garrison have close relationships with their friends. Seeing them talk about their problems with their closest buds was really relatable and made them seem like real people just trying to sort through their issues.

     The ending, although I guess a bit sweet, felt a little unresolved to me. There were certain things that I felt were just "swept under the rug" as a quick resolution that didn't seem realistic. Actually, if you can picture those minions from Despicable Me screeching ,"Whattttt?!"in your head, then you've got a pretty good visual on what my reaction was after finishing this book.

Favourtie Quotes...

“Wa, did I just say fate? I so don't believe in that. Fate is bullshit people force-feed themselves when they're too lazy to carve out a destiny of their own.”

~~~~~
“Kenny is stabbing at my heart with her being-molding herself over my existence”
Overall...
     Overall, I'd say that Someone To Love is a light, hot read that anyone looking for a quick contemporary novel will enjoy. Unfortunately I did not love it as much as some reviewers have, but I did enjoy reading it!    Have you read Someone To Love? What did you think about the relationship between Kendall and Garrison? Be sure to let me know in the comments below! Keep Reading!
    1. As far as I know it's a stand alone...but if there happened to be a sequel, my thoughts on the book might change a bit...Still think Kendall and Garrison lacked something though !
