Never Too Far By: Abbi Glines Review

Never Too Far (Too Far #2)
Author: Abbi Glines
Rating: 5/5
This book is NA (New Adult), and is in no way a YA novel. Please be aware there IS sexual content and language that is not suitable for young readers !!!
He had held a secret that destroyed her world.
Everything she had known was no longer true.
Blaire couldn’t stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him.                                                         Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life… until something happened to send her world spinning once again.                                                                            What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately?
You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.

     WOW.....*breathes in* *breathes out*.....I literally just finished reading this sequel to Abbi Glines' Fallen Too Far and I'm speechless....four hours is all it took for me to start, finish and fall in love with Blare and Rush all over again! Abbi Glines fans CANNOT miss this sequel-- and yes, that is an order ;)

     Let's start off with the actual plot! At the end of Fallen Too Far we were left with an agonizing ending that resulted in Blaire leaving Rush after finding out about the big secret he kept from her. It was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking endings that I had read in a while, and it left me a little coo-coo-for-cocoa-puffs for the release of Never Too Far. I'll have to admit, the direction Abbi Glines took with Blaire and Rush's story was something I expected....but didn't think would actually happen-- but when it did, I of course LOVED IT! Never Too Far is definitely  a heavier story than the first; both characters, especially Blaire, are forced to deal with real grown up situations. Blaire is really trying to figure out if she can ever open herself up again, while Rush is going back and forth with choosing Blair or his family, (and the consequences each choice will have on him).

     The plot may be heavier, but the steamy gets steamier! You may be wondering how this could be humanly possible for Abbi Glines to write something even HOTTER than Fallen Too Far but, boyyy did she do it! Your bookworm Rush Crushes will only grow larger after reading some of the sexiness that is contained in these pages. A large amount of fans and ice cold water is recommended while reading!

     You know the phrase "emotional rollarcoaster" we bloggers like to use when describing books? Well, let me just tell you, that phrase can never be used to describe Never Too Far. Unlike a rollarcoaster that steadily goes up before crashing down, Never Too Far is like, an emotional pin ball game that goes from sexy, to devastating and happy, to why is this happening?! in SECONDS with no warning whatsoever!  The ball is your emotions, and like pin ball, that ball is flying everywhere and it's hard to even keep up with it all ! Frustrating? Yes! Did I absolutely, positively love it? You know it ! =D

     The very ending of the novel would have bothered me if I hadn't already found out that Abbi Glines is planning on posting the epilogue for Never Too Far on her site (if Never Too Far receives 500 Amazon reviews) as well as a possibility for a third book if Never Too Far reaches #1 on Amazon ! The ending as it is leaves too much to my imagination! Normally I wouldn't mind this, but with Blaire and Rush, I'm craving for their future to be something more concrete that I can continue to sigh and faint over!

Favourite Quotes...

“No. One. Comes. Before You.”

~~~~~
“But I don't fit. Your family hates me. I make your life difficult."
That's where she was wrong. "No, You're my family. And as for making my life difficult, you, Blaire Wynn, make my life complete.”
~~~~~

“Listen to me, Blaire. If you try to go anywhere I will chase you down. I will become your shadow. I won't let you out of my sight because I can't live without you. I made so many damn mistakes with you I don't even want to try and count them but I am going to start making things right from here on out.”

Overall..

     Overall Never Too Far has claimed the new number one slot in my Glines Favourites category! I loved it that much! If you've read it, you're awesome-- let me know what you thought about it in the comments below! If you haven't read Never Too Far yet, then know that I am very jealous that you get to experience this swoon filled sequel for the first time! :P Please be sure to let me know your thoughts on Never Too Far in the comments below, as well as on Amazon.com so that we can all work on getting the chance to see more Rush and Blaire (because two books just isn't enough and summer feels wayyyy TOO FAR away....yeah....I went there :P)! 1. Oh gosh, clearly I have been living under a rock because I haven't read a single Abbi Glines book yet! CLEARLY I am missing out on some awesome romance, and btw I loved how you described this book as an emotional pin ball game! X)
    So, when I finally do start some Abbi Glines books, would you recommend I read The Vincent Boys or the Too Far series?

    1. Joie! You've got to get on the Glines train, LOL!

      Personally, I love the Too Far series the most right now, but I'd probably recommend The Vincent Boys first only because it's a good transition into the sex heavy Fallen Too Far.....Both are absolutely fabulous though! Can't go wrong with either one! =)
