Swoon Thursday {30}

Swoon Thursday is a  cool (more like HOT) meme the girls over at YA Bound created :) Here's how it works:

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog! We want to know :-)

~~~~~
This week's Swoon Thursday comes from the third and final instalment in the Infernal Devices trilogy, Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. Although I finished it last night, I think I'm going to need a couple days to process everything before putting up my review-- it's going to be both a tough and easy review to write!
On the balcony at the Lightwoods', he had been so careful, but he was not being careful now. His hands slid roughly own her back, tangling in her hair, fisting in the loose fabric at the back of her dress. Half-lifting her so their bodies collided; he was against her, the long slim length of his body, hard and fragile at the same time. Her head slanted to the side as he parted her lips with his and they were not so much kissing as devouring each other. Her fingers gripped his hair tightly, hard enough that it must have hurt, and her teeth grazed his bottom lip. He groaned and pulled her tighter, making her gasp for air....
.....I think I'm going to go read that part again *sigh* If you haven't yet read Clockwork Princess, I highly recommend you do so! Have you read Clockwork Princess? Team Will or Jem? Be sure to let me know in the comments below! Keep Reading!
  1. Oh man. I haven't read Clockwork Princess yet, because I'm so nervous about it. I love both Will and Jem, but I feel like Tessa and Will belong together. But I don't want anything to happen to Jem, either. I'm just too nervous to read it right now. Soon, though :)
  2. Awesome Swoon! I love both Will and Jem! I don't want either to get hurt, and I'm worried about Jem dying! I've read the first two, but am prolonging Clockwork Princess, because I don't want the series to end! Here's my Swoon:
    1. I understand- I honestly didn't really start to comprehend it was the last book in the series until I read the epilogue...I was in denial for a while! I don't think you'll be disappointed with it though :)
