Yes, it is that time of the week. The day we dread and wish would never come- Mondays. *Wipes tear* But have no fear, Memory Lane Monday is here! Every Monday, here at TheYABookworm, I'll do a special post called Memory Lane Monday. What's that you ask? Memory Lane Monday is a once-a-week post where I (or any other bloggers that wish to participate)  choose one book that I've previously read to be featured on that day. From the book chosen, I will pick two of my favourite quotes and write a little blurb containing my quick thoughts on the book. The books that I choose will not be books I've reviewed- since I've read so many books, I want to share with you my opinions on ones that I won't get the chance to fully review (because seriously, rereading dozens of books would take a year...or two)!      Entice is the second instalment in the Violet Eden series by author Jessica Shirvington. I've had Entice on my bookshelf for a while now, but found myself very hesitant to read it because of my feelings about the first book, Embrace (review here). I didn't like the direction the romance angle took, and I wasn't quite sure how much I liked the main character, Violet. All that being said, I found Entice to be tremendously better than Embrace-- it saved this series for me!

     Entice is definitely an instalment Lincoln fans will devour! I really loved how Entice really focuses on building a romantic relationship between Violet and Lincoln-- you may think Lincoln is all sweet, but he sure does have a sexy side! In addition, unlike Embrace, I connected with Violet a whole lot more in this book. I really admired her determination and close bond with her best friend, Steph (and may I just add a HUGE thank-you to Steph for knocking some much needed sense into Violet when she started going down the assumption train....seriously, thank-you! *cheers for voice of reason*)!

     All in all, I really enjoyed Entice and am excited to read the next book in the series, Emblaze. The ending of this book was kind of a killer, so I'm anxious to find out what's next for Violet's story! Have you read Entice? What do you think about the Violet Eden series?
