12 Days of Bookmas

It’s that time of year again, a time filled with snow, decorations, trees and busy malls! With all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season going on around us, it’s easy to forget what’s truly important- Bookmas! So, to help us prepare  and count down to this special holiday that is coming our way, I will be going through the 12 Days of Bookmas! What’s that you ask? Each and every day, until December 25th, I will be completing a special Bookmas task that will showcase some of my “Bookworm Favourites!” Your job? To read, comment, and spread Bookmas cheer by telling your friends and sharing Bookmas posts on facebook and twitter using the hashtag #12DAYSofBOOKMAS ! On the sixth day of Bookmas my fictional boyfriend sent to me,

6 favourite quotes,

5 fantastic bloggers,

4 epic series,

3 NA Trailers,

2 booktastic trailers,

and a swoon worthy scene for me!

Task: Find six of your absolute favourite quotes from any or multiple novels/series!

I've read and dog-earned (I know, I'm terrible) many great quotes throughout the year....here is just a small sample of them:

As we walked toward the dean's office, he reached over, trailing his fingers along my arm. "Do they still react when I touch you?"

Heat crawled through my veins, and I nodded. The marks had followed the path of his touch. "Yeah, they still like you."

One side of his lips curled up, and a look of male pride crossed his face. I shook my head. Boys.

Aren't you failing English?"

Angeline flushed. "It's not my fault."

"Even I know you can't write and entry on Wikipedia and then use it as a source in your essay." Sydney had been torn with horror and hysterics when she told me.

“You drive me insane June. You're the scariest, most clever, bravest person I know, and sometimes I can't catch my breath because I'm trying so hard to keep up. There will never be another like you. You realize that, don't you? Billions of people will come and go in this world, but there will never be another like you.” 

“Bout time you joined the party, ice-boy!” Puck yelled from somewhere overhead. The Summer prankster appeared on the monster’s head again, grinning down at us. “I was wondering if Furball would ever find you. Hey remember that time we fought those hill giants throwing boulders at us down Redwater Gorge? This is so much worse than that!

“Is Jase already gonna marry you?”

I start coughing again. “Uh, No. No, George. I’m only seventeen.” As if that’s the only reason we’re not engaged.

“I’m this many.” George holds up four, slightly grubby fingers. “But Jase is seventeen and a half. You could. Then you could live in here with him. And have a big family.”

Jase strides back into the room, of course, midway through this proposition. “George. Beat it. Discovery Channel is on.”

George backs out of the room but not before saying, “His bed’s really comfortable. And he never pees in it.” 

“Ready to s-snuggle?" he asked Kaidan, a slight clatter in his voice. Only Blake could joke on a night like this and get away with it. 

Kaidan shook his head and undressed down to his boxers, too, the tension finally shedding away from his frame. "I swear, mate. If I feel something poke me in the back. . ." 

Blake's laugh was dry. "I'm pretty sure my junk froze off, man, so don't worry.”
