 15. Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read In 2013?

“Is Jase already gonna marry you?”

I start coughing again. “Uh, No. No, George. I’m only seventeen.” As if that’s the only reason we’re not engaged.

“I’m this many.” George holds up four, slightly grubby fingers. “But Jase is seventeen and a half. You could. Then you could live in here with him. And have a big family.”

Jase strides back into the room, of course, midway through this proposition. “George. Beat it. Discovery Channel is on.”

George backs out of the room but not before saying, “His bed’s really comfortable. And he never pees in it.”

27. Book You Read in 2013 That You Think Got Overlooked This Year Or When It Came Out?

Book Blogging/Reading Life

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2013?

A fairly new favourite....Love how short and entertaining her reviews are! You've got to check her blog out :D

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2013?

I guess I'd have to say my review for Clockwork Princess....it brought out lots of feelings :P

3. Best discussion you had on your blog?

I wish I could answer this question but I don't typically write discussion posts.....however, I'm planning on writing some in the new year! ....I feel the need to express!

 4. Most thought-provoking review or discussion you read on somebody else’s blog?
Messy Blogging-- Is There a Cure? from Book Rock Betty

5. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?
Definitely have to say Melissa de la Cruz's book signing she had in Toronto this past January. Not only did I get to meet her, but I also was part of the blog tour for Gates of Paradise and even had the chance to interview her on my blog....It was surreal to have played such a big part in the concluding novel of a series I loved so much AND THEN have the opportunity to meet the creator behind it! I ogle my signed book all the time :P

 6. Best moment of book blogging/your book life in 2013?
Being quoted in Sentinel by Jennifer L. Armentrout was a complete fangirl moment for me....I was just randomly skimming through the blogger quote sections and all of a sudden, I saw The YA Bookworm! It's safe to say that not only was I in minor shock, I also danced around my house for the remainder of the night!

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?
Nothing in particular.....I think all around I hope my reviews in 2014 have a little more traffic. :)

5. One Thing You Hope To Accomplish Or Do In Your Reading/Blogging In 2014?

Like I said earlier, I want to start getting into writing more discussion posts....I also want to try and maintain a more regular posting schedule, but, well, we shall see about that one. I'm honestly in awe of the people who have posts scheduled months ahead of time *bows down to their unearthly awesomeness*

  2. First of all, thank you for mentioning me in your post!!
Second, I'm so glad you did because I ended up finding your blog!
So many good books mentioned in this post! Origin and Clockwork Princess were both awesome reads for me this year! I've had Allegiant since release day, but still haven't read it yet! I feel insane about it, but after all the crazy responses I'm a little scared! Bawling your eyes out? Oh no! I am so happy that you love Cole Holland--- meeeee tooooo! Thumbs up for My Life Next Door! Also, gotta agree with you on Through the Ever Night for imagery! I love that about V Rossi's writing-- i can see everything so clearly! That is so cool that you were quotes in JLA's Sentinel! Now THAT was an amazing book! Happy New Year!

AHHHH Allegiant--- I'm crying for you already! You'll either love it or hate it....that's all I'm going to say!

How excited are you for the last novel in the White Chronicles series?! Honestly, Cole Holland has a way with words that makes me gooey inside....he has a gift!

  4. Hiii! I just wanted to say I LOVE your blog and it only makes me want to spent more time on my own blog ;) Thumbs up, I'll be visiting your blog more often! Going to fill in that survey too I think, I agree with you on all the books (well, the one that I've read too). Allegiant made me cry for about a week and made me so mad I started writing fanfiction just so I could make a different ending! And I have Rossi's and Cass' books on my shelve, ready to be read! You made me even more curious about them! :)
(Can I recomment a book? You should read Ashes, Shadows and Monsters by Ilsa J. Bick! I think you'll love the books! I haven't read the last part yet (part 2 had the biggest cliffhanger EVER) but that's only because the paperback isn't released yet. I LOVED the first two books and couldn't put them away!)

Happy new year, by the way! Let 2014 be amazing and full of exciting YA books!

I'm DEFINITELY going to have to add that series to my TBR....Read the synopsis and some reviews for the first book & I'm intrigued! Thank-you so much for the recommendation :D

Be sure to move Cass and Rossi's book onto high priority spots on your TBR-- they are amazing!

      Happy New Year !!
