Memory Lane Monday: Rush by Eve Silver

Have you heard about the new format?

Memory Lane Monday will now consist of five simple questions I will answer about a book I haven't reviewed. Most likely this will be books that have been out for a year+ or novellas that I feel are too short to dedicate an entire review to.

So, without further ado, let's get started!

This week's Memory Lane Monday is...
RUSH By: Eve Silver

1) You've got five words! Describe the book!

This game is real life.....*Cues dramatic "duh-duh-duhhh"*

2) Pick a quote. Any quote.

"I know you," he whispers. He sounds so certain that I almost believe him. I almost believe that I know him, too, that there's something in each of us that clicks with the other, like two pieces of a puzzle.

I shake my head. "You don't. You can't."

3) Hit, Miss or Meh?
HIT! I was in a tiny bit of a reading slump a couple weeks ago, and this book brought me right out of it!

4) Best or Worst Quality...
Best Quality: How Eve Silver managed to combine a videogame-like setting with the risks of real life. The fast pace also makes this pretty difficult to put down and the ending is kind of a killer!

5) Most Memorable Character...
Jackson Tate: He's that mysterious bad boy that I always seem to be swooned over by :D

I really enjoyed RUSH (and I was SO glad I was able to get an early copy of the sequel)!!  Have you read RUSH? Are you looking forward to PUSH?  Be sure to let me know in the comments below!  Keep Reading!

  1. Hm. I haven't heard of Rush, but it definitely seems like a great book! With games. Kind of like The Hunger Games? The Maze Runner? Etc. Great post!

    1. I haven't read The Maze Runner, but I guess it has similarities to Hunger Games in the sense that the game is life or death....It's very different though....:)
