Yes, it is that time of the week. The day we dread and wish would never come- Mondays. *Wipes tear* But have no fear, Memory Lane Monday is here! Every Monday, here at TheYABookworm, I'll do a special post called Memory Lane Monday. What's that you ask? Memory Lane Monday is a once-a-week post where I (or any other bloggers that wish to participate) choose one book that I've previously read to be featured on that day. From the book chosen, I will pick two of my favourite quotes and write a little blurb containing my quick thoughts on the book. The books that I choose will not be books I've reviewed- since I've read so many books, I want to share with you my opinions on ones that I won't get the chance to fully review (because seriously, rereading dozens of books would take a year...or two)! Be sure to participate by leaving your "Memory Lane Monday" in the comments, or a link to your blog post with the hash-tag #YAMemoryLaneMonday on twitter :D

Top Two Favourite Quotes...Your heart misleads you.
That's what my friends and family say.
But I love Noah. And he loves me.
We met and fell in love in the sleepy farming community of Meadowview, while we rode our horses together through the grassy fields and in those moments in each other's arms.
It should be
ROSE & NOAH
forever, easy.
But it won't be.
Because he's Amish. And I'm not.
#1 I'd never reacted to a girl this way before. My body was on fire when I was around Rose, and when I wasn't with her, all I did was think about her. Today had been the longest day of my life, dragging on forever until it was finally time to go meet her in the field.
#2 I didn't care about anything else in the world. I just wanted to touch her. I wanted her so badly that it nearly killed me.

In addition to Temptation opening my eyes to what it would be like to be Amish, it also focuses on a love story between Rose and Noah that while others may call forbidden (which it completely is), I like to describe as scandalous. Secreting meetings, stolen kisses and intense attraction made Rose and Noah's interactions have this scandal quality that I couldn't get enough of! I guess reading so much about Amish people's simpler way of life makes you feel like your reading about a different time period, even though the book is set in the present!
Temptation is a very unique romance that kept me intrigued from the beginning. I'm reading book two right now, Belonging, and am once again fascinated by the direction the story is taking! I'll be fully reviewing Belonging sometime before my Belonging Blog Tour date on May 1st, so be on the look out for that! Have you read Temptation? What do you think about Noah and Rose's relationship? Keep Reading!
