Have you heard about the new format?
Memory Lane Monday will now consist of five simple questions I will answer about a book I haven't reviewed. Most likely this will be books that have been out for a year+ or novellas that I feel are too short to dedicate an entire review to.
So, without further ado, let's get started!
This week's Memory Lane Monday is...
Forgotten Yesterday By: Renee Ericson
Ruby Miller's future was on track when she entered her freshman year of college at the University of Chicago. Everything seemed easy, possible, and full of hope, especially with Brent by her side.
However, life didn't go as planned and obstacles arose setting her on a very different path from the one she had envisioned.
Now, five years later, Ruby is piecing her life back together and moving on from everything that once tore her apart.
What happens though, when the one person who carries every memory of Ruby's happiest and darkest moments appears unexpectedly before her? Will she carry on or dive deep into her forgotten yesterday?
*Contains explicit language, sex, and mature themes. Recommended for readers 18+.
**A These Days Novella
1) You've got five words! Describe the book!
A look into the future...
2) Pick a quote. Any quote.
“I saw the soul of the man who knew my everything, as much as I knew his.”
3) Hit, Miss or Meh?
Meh-- No doubt this is a must read for followers of the series but this book definitely took a depressing turn...
4) Best or Worst Quality...
Worst quality-- Having to see how much pain Ruby and Brent experienced....It was so sad :'(
5) Most Memorable Character...
Ruby: I couldn't help but admire her strength.....like I said in the point above, she has to go through some tough situations that make you want to grab and squeeze her with hugs!
